The part that interested me most during our interview was her response to how she dealt with playing the villain in telenovelas while also maintaining a normal role in her everyday life. For me, it would be hard to act like a bad person, be good at it and get paid only to know that you must act in the complete opposite way while not on set. This characteristic of Carlota, in my opinion, not only speaks volumes about her acting abilities but also her true personality in it being very strong and defiant. To act as a bad person for half of your life while also truly being a good person in real life shows to me just how strong she is in her acting career. Its hard for me to imagine characteristics of playing a villain not spilling over into your real life but as Carlota said, you must be strong and firm in your personality which is evident in her happy marriage with her husband.
